PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Doctor of History of the Israelites (D.H.I.) is an advanced doctoral program designed to provide comprehensive scholarly study of the history of the Israelites from the patriarchal era through the biblical kingdoms, exile, and post-exilic period. The program integrates biblical history, archaeology, ancient Near Eastern studies, historical research, and theological interpretation to develop a deeper understanding of God's redemptive work throughout Israel's history. Students engage in advanced research, critical historical analysis, and biblical scholarship while exploring the political, cultural, religious, and covenantal development of Israel. The program prepares graduates for academic leadership, theological research, biblical teaching, and ministry that accurately interprets and communicates the historical foundations of Scripture.
