PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Doctor of History of Israel’s Neighboring Kingdoms (D.H.I.N.K.) is an advanced doctoral program designed to provide an in-depth historical, archaeological, biblical, and theological study of the ancient kingdoms that interacted with Israel throughout the Old Testament. Students critically examine the political, cultural, religious, military, and diplomatic relationships between Israel and neighboring civilizations such as Egypt, Moab, Edom, Ammon, Philistia, Phoenicia, Aram, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, and others. The program integrates biblical scholarship with historical research, preparing graduates for advanced teaching, academic research, biblical interpretation, and leadership in theological education and ministry.
