PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Diploma of Aramaic Language and Literature (Dip.ALL) is a specialized academic program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the Aramaic language, its grammar, literature, and historical development. The program introduces learners to the linguistic and cultural background of Biblical and post-biblical Aramaic, enabling them to engage directly with ancient texts and traditions. Through the study of Aramaic grammar, vocabulary, literature, and historical contexts, students gain valuable skills for biblical studies, theological research, translation work, and ministry. The program equips learners to better understand portions of the Old Testament, the cultural world of the Near East, and the linguistic heritage closely connected to biblical studies.
