PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Master of Jewish Sectarianism (M.JS) is an advanced graduate program designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the diverse Jewish sects, movements, and religious communities that shaped the historical, theological, and cultural context of the Bible. Students will examine the beliefs, practices, literature, and historical development of groups such as the Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Zealots, and other Second Temple Jewish movements. This program integrates biblical studies, historical research, and theological analysis to equip students for scholarly research, biblical interpretation, teaching, apologetics, and ministry within Jewish and Christian contexts.
