PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Doctor of History of Israelite Judges (D.H.I.J.) is an advanced doctoral program designed to provide an in-depth scholarly study of the historical, theological, literary, and covenantal significance of the period of the Israelite Judges. Students critically examine the biblical narratives, historical context, leadership models, archaeological evidence, covenant theology, and the social, political, and spiritual developments that shaped Israel between the conquest and the monarchy. This program integrates rigorous academic research with biblical interpretation, enabling scholars, educators, pastors, and ministry leaders to develop advanced expertise in Old Testament history and theology while contributing original research to biblical scholarship and Christian education.
