PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Doctor of Israelite Literary Studies (D.I.L.S.) is an advanced doctoral program designed for scholars, pastors, educators, and researchers seeking an in-depth understanding of the literary, historical, theological, and cultural dimensions of ancient Israelite literature. The program provides rigorous training in the interpretation of biblical texts, Hebrew literary traditions, historical contexts, and contemporary scholarly research. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of 60 credit hours.
- Passing of comprehensive examination.
- Completion and defense of a doctoral dissertation (50,000–70,000 words).
- Demonstrated applied literary study project (textual research, manuscript publication, or interpretive study contributing to Israelite literary scholarship).
