PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Diploma of Jewish Sectarianism (Dip.JS) is an advanced academic program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the major Jewish sects, movements, and religious groups that shaped the historical, cultural, and theological context of the Bible. This program explores the origins, beliefs, practices, and influence of groups such as the Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Zealots, Samaritans, and other Jewish communities. Students will gain valuable insights into Second Temple Judaism, the background of the New Testament, and the relationship between Jewish sectarianism and early Christianity.
