PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Sunday School Ministry (B.SSM) is an undergraduate program designed to prepare students for effective Christian education and children's ministry within the local church and community. The program provides a strong biblical and theological foundation while equipping students with practical skills in teaching, curriculum development, discipleship, leadership, and age-appropriate ministry methods. Students gain knowledge of child development, Christian education principles, and Sunday school administration, enabling them to serve effectively in churches, Christian schools, and educational ministries. Through academic study and practical ministry experience, graduates are prepared to nurture spiritual growth and lead Christ-centered educational ministries.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Completion of 136 credit hours.
Passing of a comprehensive examination.
Completion and defense of a Bachelor’s thesis / major research project (15,000–20,000 words).
Demonstrated practical ministry impact project, such as:
o Developing a comprehensive Sunday School curriculum.
o Establishing a model Sunday School program for local churches.
o Designing a discipleship or leadership program for children and youth.
o Leading a community outreach or educational initiative through Sunday School.
