PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Israelite Literary Studies (B.I.L.S.) is a comprehensive undergraduate degree program designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the literary heritage of ancient Israel as preserved in the Bible and related historical texts. The program explores Hebrew literature, biblical poetry, wisdom writings, prophetic literature, historical narratives, and their theological, cultural, and historical significance. Through academic research, literary analysis, and biblical interpretation, students develop the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to understand Israelite literature within its ancient Near Eastern context while applying its enduring spiritual and ethical principles to contemporary Christian ministry, education, and scholarship.
